Brand of the House

There are some traits that make our pieces have a special personality and are identifiable. Although very sincerely we will tell you that the person who makes the final part and closes the personal stamp is you.

Some characteristic features of ours would be...

La No-Tanca---> The Earrings 8, The Earrings Ora...
Multi-positions---> in an earring or ring Twist earrings...
Invisible fence---> The Ibis earrings...
Special curves---> The eliptic ring...
Thread continuous---> No beginning or end The Infinite Ring...
Organ shapes---> The pebble earrings, The regalim ring...
Mathematical proportions---> the Auric ring...
Recovery of traditional fences---> Symmetry earrings...
Research---> Nylo's memory of position with temperature, the elliptical shape of the finger, colored silicone tube as an elastic fence, the ephemeral jewelry of natural fruits, the nailing of stones using transparent silicone tube, the euro ring...
Traditional techniques---> Ring Hammer

We describe some of them.
Continuous thread
In our creative history, some time ago, a line of design of certain pieces appears from a continuous thread on which the various functional and decorative elements of the piece are built in an integrated way. In most cases another characteristic feature is the absence of accessory parts such as the typical pressure closure used on most slopes. These elements disappear because the same thread is achieved with a simple curve, with a small duplication or a shot in the form of a molten ball formed by the same thread to perform the closing functions.
around our neck. On the slopes of the eighth family, it is impossible to decide where the hook that hangs from the lobe ends and where the O that remains in front of the lobe begins. It is the greatness of the thread that flows without beginning and without end. This metaphor culminates in the INFINITE ring. In the starting thread when he turned his finger around, he embraced the thread that was again the beginning. And so on with no end. The body or main core of some of the pieces is formed from the thread. In the case of a light bulb, where with spirals of the thread that come from the ring itself they make a thread effect, in the form of a cylinder on which we place the diamond.

Yes...
And to give an end to this set, we could say that the keychain slopes are earrings for people who do not have the trepanated lobe. The earrings hug and press gently so that they adorn equally with the aperture but do not need to pass through the flesh.

Multipossition
Another transgressive and present element common in Salvador Mallol's pieces is the fact that the positioning of the main elements of the piece, for example on a slope, is inverted or modified. The one in front goes behind, the one that goes up goes down.

Let's turn around
So we have the Mistu collection that is born from melting the end of a metal thread with a fine high-temperature blower.
A ball is formed that acts as an end and that will be in the form of a stop that remains centered on the lobe like a small button. So in the Mistu, the stem that hangs, hangs from behind the lobe instead of in front.
In the ORA collection, the hoop that forms the slope also hangs behind the lobe instead of in front. That's why it's called ORA because it's its position upside down from an ARO (its anagram)

The Matissat
Matte finishes are a common constant in the work of Salvador Mallol. And also the different colors of gold (Red, Green, Yellow and Gray) that come from different recipes of the gold that we cook in our workshop, always maintaining the alloy of 18 Kilates. In some pieces it is chosen to use pure gold that has a very intense yellow coloration although it must be taken into account that much less hardness.

The integrated fence
Enclosures, if they exist, are in many cases integrated.
In the same path of the thread making a hook (earrings climbs), like an orifice where the thread enters (Sisquatre Earrings), in a fold of the thread by click pressure, it is an envelope that makes the thread (ibis earrings).

The No-Close
In some almost game-like earrings, closures don't exist. They are simple bumps in the course. The DOUBLEORA slope has a sophisticated placement procedure. And the first test to overcome is to guess how and where it begins to be placed. Although in the end an unparalleled effect is achieved. A double Aro earring, which leaves a circle placed in front of the lobe and another from behind, connected and part of a single earring.

Mathematical or special curves.
Form does matter. Curves have one. Very important in the perception we have of the jewel. TWIST is a clear example. It is an unclosed slope. It looks like a hair fork, but no angles. A perfect curve, with the right tension, makes its two branches have the option of twisting as when we make a twist movement with our legs.

Organic Reasons
In the case of giving away, the whole family of pieces has as its motif a small drop of material that, as a drop of water that slips along the stem of a leaf, gives rise to rings and bracelets with drops of dew. In slippery gold drops we sometimes appreciate flashes of diamond that give it more freshness.
